Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) Services

Service Asset and Configuration Management is the process responsible for tracking and reporting the value and ownership of financial assets throughout their Lifecycle. Asset Management is part of an overall process that of Service Asset and Configuration Management.

Building an airport asset register is never an easy task and is both time consuming and expensive. With our Service Asset and Configuration Management services, the tasks of capturing your asset information and keeping it updated have never been easier.

ServiceTec Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) is an asset management solution for facilities, finance, and maintenance management departments across airports and airlines. Developed using Microsoft .Net and with SQL Server as the database platform, ServiceTec Asset Management is completely secure and allows airport management teams to tailor the solution to their precise asset tracking and management requirements.

Our SACM system can accept input of data from many different sources, including manual input during installation or audit, bar code technology and via network discovery tools. SACM can also upload data from existing technologies or legacy systems for customers who have a simple asset database and wish to have it incorporated into a SACM system.

Once the input method and level of granularity of data to be captured are agreed, an audit of your Service Assets is carried out. In the case of a system refresh, ServiceTec will, at the point of installation, record all relevant data into the SACM database. For legacy equipment, we can either import existing data or undertake a physical site audit of assets where discovery technology is not possible.

ServiceTec Asset Management delivers the specific capabilities demanded by international airports so that information and renewal alerts on warranties, maintenance, routine inspections, insurance policies, etc. can be efficiently managed. Documents, pictures and other files (such as digital photographs, CAD drawings, maps, purchase orders, Warranty and Service Level Agreements, etc.) can also be linked to each asset, providing a centralized repository of all information relating to that asset. A powerful customized report facility allows users to generate their own reports quickly, easily and without the need for IT specialist involvement.
