Filon's Technical Services Department help and advise customers, architects, contractors, distributors etc., in many areas
on the suitability and benefits of using Filon's products to meet various applications within the building industry, plus products
manufactured by Filon applicable to other industries.
The range of services provided by Filon's Technical Services Department are:
Answering all types of technical queries concerning the application of Filon's
products.
Reviewing specifications supplied by customers, etc., and providing relevant
information for costing purposes.
Site visits to assess requirements and ensure that product specifications are correct
and to identify any technical problems.
Site visits to ensure correct installation of Filon supplied products.
CAD support providing drawings to meet customers requirements.
CAD support in developing manufacturing drawings for the production of products to
meet customer orders.
Technical support to architects, design consultants, roofing and cladding manufacturers,
with rooflight and roofing designs to meet the demands of existing and new roofing
and cladding systems.
Provision of Technical Support to all departments within the Company to meet the
needs of customers, architects, distributors, etc.
Ensuring that products manufactured by Filon Products meet all the necessary
standards required by the relevant associations within industry.
Development and maintenance of standards to ensure the Company is at the forefront
in meeting all relevant aspects of existing and new legislation.
