Filon manufacture a range of roofing products from both opaque and translucent GRP. These roofing sheets are used in many different types of applications including, the roofing of entire roofs, the replacement or refurbishment of old roofs, and for general roofing repairs of old asbestos and metal roofs. The GRP sheeting is extremely strong and robust, made to a high specification, meeting the demands of both the HSE CDM and also the UK Building Regulations.

Filon DR is an extremely versatile, strong and cost effective alternative to other roofing materials, and is used extensively in many applications. The product can be manufactured in old and obsolete profiles to blend with existing roofing constraints.


Filon Citadel is an excellent product for use in hostile climates encompassing the extremes of weather, coastal and marine environments, as well as the intensive adverse conditions of chemical plants and other hazardous substances. Its superior qualities successfully combat conditions in which other roofing and cladding materials would quickly erode.

All roofing products are manufactured in a wide range of weights and specifications to satisfy varying requirements, the top of the range being made from Filon SupasaFe which is as strong as 0.7mm steel roofing sheets. In addition, all products are fire resistant, light and easy to fit, and have a high durability factor retaining their structural reliability in excess of 30 years.
