Industrial Building Solutions (IBS) were congratulated for their excellent work in the over-roofing of the Sports Hall at Parkhouse School and College. John Cheney, the Resources Manager, commented that the IBS team consulted him throughout the contract, enabling the installation to run smoothly with no disruption to the daily operation of the Sports Hall or the rest of the school site.
Employees and their sub-contractors adhered to the Health and Safety Regulations, making it a safe site for the school as well as themselves. The whole contract was monitored and kept on target by Andy Green, the proprietor, enabling it to finish on time. He congratulated IBS on a first class job and the use of Filon Over-Roofing system.
The over-roofing system allowed the work to be carried out without any disruption because it was fixed from above. Its very lightweight, but extremely strong and versatile structure, followed the contours of the existing roof, and removed the need for any Planning Permission or Structural Surveys due to the whole system becoming zero weight when fixed.
Andy Green commented that he has used the Filon Over-Roofing system on a considerable number of contracts over the years and found Filon's new Profix 25 spacer, combined with the flexibility of the system, made it an ideal product to install on the Parkhouse Sports Hall.
In Andy's experience the Filon Over-Roofing system comes into its own when the need to over-roof old asbestos buildings is required. It not only saves time in the carrying out the work, but with it being zero weighted and little or no disruption to the occupants the building can still be in use whilst the work is in progress.
