The Outdoor Centres are administered by North Yorkshire County Council for the benefit of children and adults from a wide variety of educational establishments and organisations. These centres are located in rural settings in the North of England where students can experience safe enjoyable activities in the countryside.

Bewerley Park Centre for Outdoor Education
Located just outside the scenic Yorkshire Dales town of Pateley Bridge, near Harrogate and Ripon, Bewerley Park lies in the beautiful Nidderdale Valley.
East Barnby Outdoor Education Centre
High on the rolling coastal plateau between the purple heather moorland of the North York Moors and the deep blue North Sea, the centre is located in a heavily wooded hilltop overlooking Mulgrave Woods and Whitby, about 5 miles to the south east.
Humphrey Head Centre for Outdoor Education
Situated five miles south of Lake Windermere on the shores of Morecambe Bay, the centre stands on a limestone peninsula which stretches out for almost a mile into the sand banks and mud flats of the bay.
Great Fryupdale Outdoor Centre
A converted primary school in a quiet picturesque valley in the heart of the North Yorks Moors National Park, 12 miles from the coast and Whitby,  2 1/2 miles from the nearest village.
