- Siemens own Hipath Xpressions Voice Mail
- The VoxBox and VoxPro range from Oak Telecom. Oak Telecom is the largest provider of such equipment in the UK , all of which are fully approved for connection to Siemens Hipath Telephone Systems.
All the above systems support either or both Voice Mail & Auto Attendant. Benefits include:
- Voice Mail provides answering machine facilities and more for any extension on your telephone system.
- Auto Attendant can answer your organisations main number instead of an Operator/Receptionist. Auto Attendant can be very effective, if used in a simple way e.g. press 1 for Sales, 2 for Accounts, etc., in promoting efficiency and therefore cost savings.
- Voice Mail, especially when associated with DDI, eliminates message pads and reduces “telephone tag” by allowing a caller to leave more elaborate messages for the wanted individual.
- A receptionist can put a caller through to a mailbox if that person is out or engaged.
- People can retrieve their messages remotely.
- The PC based Oak VoxPro supports higher end functionality such as Email & Text notification of a voice message. If this is combined with other Hipath features then it’s possible to have one person, with one phone number, and one voice mailbox. Their mobile phone receives their office calls wherever they are.
