- Phone adapter: Provides support for another Optipoint handset. It is entirely independent from its host having a separate telephone number and features. Both Optipoints’ can be used simultaneously. This is a very useful feature when either the Hipath system is running out of capacity or it would be difficult and expensive to provide additional wiring.
