Click Here to see the Medical Section in our Terms and Conditions for full details.
Disabled Access
The pictures above give an example of our boarding process.
The Waterfront Retail area has free public parking with disabled bays approximately 5 minutes’ walk from our quay side.
Boarding Our Boat
The promenade along the quay side has a wheelchair access ramp, however to get in and out of our boat requires passengers to transfer out of a wheelchair and step onto the pontoon and then onto the boat’s tubes which may not always be stable. Once onboard, our boat passengers will need to step down off the back seat onto the deck. This steep step down is approximately 45 cm (18 inches).
Once on board, you will be seated on bench seats with a hand rail in front of you. All seats (except the front one) also have foot holds. Throughout your entire voyage (for your personal safety) you must remain seated.
Our crew will always assist everyone to safely get on and off our vessel. If you feel that there may be a problem for you or one of your party please contact us in advance, by phoning our booking office (Tel : 01293 888780)
Our voyages include live commentaries, if you need to lip read, please advise our staff on the day.
Toilet Facilities
Our vessel does not have any toilet facilities, however there are public toilets in the Waterfront Retail complex that have disabled access.
Food and Drink
We do not have any food or drink facilities onboard, however, there are many restaurants and cafes in the Waterfront Retail complex. Food is not allowed on board. For safety, drinks must be in plastic packaging.
Sustainable Transport
There is a public bus route to the Crumbles shopping centre which is a 10 minute walk from our quay side. See our Directions page for details.
During the summer months the “Dotto” train runs from Eastbourne’s seafront to Atlantic Drive. From Atlantic Drive we are a 5 minute walk away.
Should you wish to arrive by bicycle we have access to a cycle rack in our underground
car park -
