Project Management
The purpose of project management is to ensure that what is delivered meets the customer’s expectations. To that end:
- Prior to implementation Brightel Datanet will appoint a project manager who acts as a single point of contact for all aspects of a new installation.
- The customer nominates their own single point of contact for our project manager to work with.
- Outline requirements from sales are passed to the project manager who will use forms to determine the customer’s precise programming requirements. This includes among other things; extension numbering and names as well as which outside lines will ring which extension group
- Where appropriate BT lines and any other network services will be ordered by Brightel Datanet.
- An in service date is agreed with the customer.
- Our engineers will work to this installation date to ensure a smooth changeover.
- The customer nominates who should be trained on how to use the new system and who should be trained as system administrator.
- Our service includes additional uncharged time over the next month to tweak the system as required as the client gets used to their new features.
