We are often asked why we recommend acrylic solid surface over granite, quartz and laminate - and the answer is simple; Arcylic solid surface is a far suprerior product, as shown by the chart below.
There are many solid surface manufacturers, but only a few which offer the beauty, quality and durability to allow us to put our name to the product. We have chosen, through years of experience working with the products, three; Corian, Staron, Hanex and TriStone.
Staron
Solid-Surface products from Samsung give you the tried-and-trusted quality and technological innovation that you would expect form a global name such as Samsung. Staron Solid Surfaces have been on the market since 1992, and are amongst the most commonly used solud surfaces, and not without reason. The material used in Staron's worktops is not only extremely attractive, but practical; it is durable, easily-maintained, impermeable and seamless, whilst simultaneously setting a new standard in hygiene.
Corian
Invented and produced by DuPont, Corian is a solid surface offering superior design possibilities and excellent long-term performance, used both in the home and in many different commercial environments, from hotels to healthcare, retail to marine.
If you can imagine it, you can probably create it with Corian. Available in over 100 colours, Corian worktops can be carved, routed or worked like wood, moulded, thermoformed or inlayed - the design options are almost limitless.
Hanex
