SimplePCI
From advanced image analysis through to image overlay, through
to creating AVI movies SimplePCI does the job.
The user interface is compact and intuitive
with a number of exclusive features!
This powerful cost effective module can be used in conjunction
with our capture module to acquire images for a wide range
of imaging applications
or it can be used by the imaging professional who wants no
only to annotate, but also to measure images.

Simple Automatic Image Capture (AIC)
this powerful module
allows you to capture high quality images. Compatible with
a wide range of camera systems and support for all the industry
standard microscope peripherals. These include filter wheels,
shutters xy stages, focus control and fast switching illumination
devices.
Furthermore the AIC module includes the ability to run any
experiment that you choose! And it includes drivers for all
the devices that
we currently support!!
What does this mean? Very simply if you buy a camera and software
from us - To upgrade to time lapse simply requires that you
buy the correct hardware, shutter or filter wheel. It is not
£500 for a filter wheel driver, £500 for a shutter
driver!!

Dynamic
Intensity Analysis (DIA)
is a powerful module that converts any capture system into a
system capable of Ca2+ ratiometric analysis online FRET, FRAP
or gfp expression measurements. It can be used in an on-line
mode during image capture, or it can be used for post acquisition
analysis.

Deconvolution
Nearest Neighbour (DNN)
module supplements SimplePCI to remove out-of-focus haze from
optical image sections.
The out-of-focus haze is mathematically modeled as a point-spread
function (PSF), and used to deblur an image. The module supports
both nearest neighbour and no neighbour for rapid deconvolution
of images and image sequences.

Motion
Tracking and Analysis (MTA)
The powerful rejection and selection tools in SimpleIPA allow
the scientist to measure cell motion characteristics, velocities,
average velocities, etc. The data can be exported for later
presentation and analysis the tracks can be viewed over the
original data set as an AVI movie.
