High
Speed Imaging of C.Elegens.
This model system allows rapid studies of the effects of genetic
interventions. In many instances these produce morphological
changes, which can be monitored and recorded using high speed
image capture. SPCI and a Hamamatsu
ORCA camera are able to grab 10 images a second at full
resolution direct to memory with complete image display!!
Over 1,000 images can be stored in realtime. These can
either be exported as an AVI movie, or single images or series
of images can be exported saved as a montage and printed to
high resolution and quality.
