Essentis Issuer provides the means to define the terms and conditions of payment products, to open new accounts and issue cards, to process authorization requests, to post transactions, to handle customer service, to bill customers and to monitor delinquency.

Essentis Acquirer provides the means to define the terms and conditions of merchant agreements, to open new merchant accounts, to post transactions and settle merchants, to handle merchant service, to monitor potential fraudulent activity and to calculate charges and bill merchants.

Essentis Interchange provides interfaces to the Visa, MasterCard, JCB and Amex clearing and settlement systems and to other payment schemes. It processes incoming interchange files, generates outgoing interchange files, handles reconciliation reporting and supports the chargeback cycle for both issuers and acquirers.

Essentis SOA Adaptor brings Web Service enablement to Essentis. It sits within a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) where business functionality is made available as independent services that can be accessed without the knowledge of the underlying platform.  These services can then be invoked from any enterprise architecture capable of generating SOAP messages from Web Service Description Language (WSDL) definitions.

Essentis Open Messaging provides an XML message interface which can be used to connect multiple delivery channels to the back office functions in an easy and standard way. Essentis has been fully integrated with call centres, branch networks, telephone banking and internet service platforms.
