Essentis Interchange
Essentis Interchange is the central transaction router for the Essentis
product family, processing all incoming and outgoing monetary
transactions and maintaining a central transactions database.
Essentis Interchange also manages the clearing and settlement interfaces
with the major International payment schemes, ensuring ongoing
compliance with Visa, MasterCard, JCB and Amex.
Essentis Interchange can readily be adapted to manage clearing and
settlement with additional networks such as domestic payment schemes.
Built around a common core and based on the ISO 8583 specification,
Essentis Interchange contains separate and independent processes for
passing clearing and settlement data to and from each of the
international networks. This design greatly facilitates the
implementation of compliance upgrades and the introduction of new
interfaces.
Essentis Interchange is capable of processing EMV-standard chip credit
and debit clearing transactions.
The receipt of and entry of dispute transactions (chargebacks,
representments, etc.) is also managed through Essentis Interchange.
