About Me

An MBA qualified strategist with many years in senior positions, I first trained with Reuters in the City of London. I have wide experience of business development including strategy definition, business planning, and economic and business analysis. I am also a competent project manager with experience in both public and private sectors. My experience includes creating and maintaining partnerships and joint ventures, managing overseas projects, technical projects, and property development.

I always promote a customer-driven focus based on past experience of market research and analysis and backed up by familiarity with the application of quality management techniques. I have many years experience as a business analyst in a variety of environments - large and small organisations, technical and non-technical sectors, transport, information services, non-government organisations, education, property, and pharmaceuticals to name a few.

I also have a keen interest in training and developing the people I come into professional contact with. My experience in the development of business-focused courses includes providing the course content for an ebusiness-based supply chain module at Masters degree level and managing the business sponsor's contribution to the design and implementation of an undergraduate degree course.

I am currently researching for a PhD at Cranfield University, where I am developing new understanding so that I and other practitioners can make informed choices when faced with incorporating stakeholder input into business decisions.
