Design and Installation

DX Electrica provides installation to all business sizes. Our experience in the industry means that we can tailor a specific system to your requirements. Whether you need 1 installation or 20, we have a specialised team that can give technical advice from start to finish.

We hold quality accredited badges, giving you peace of mind that workmanship is always to a high standard.

To comply with the Building Performance Directive and Climate change. DX Electrica’ associate company Cavendish Engineers are low Carbon Energy Assessor accredited. As such, DX Electrica always tries to ensure that Low Energy rated units are installed. Low energy rated equipment provide energy saving costs to the client longer term.

Please see below details on how you can potentially claim back 100% of the cost through the ECA (Enhanced Capital Allowances) scheme.

Below are just some of installation services we provide. If you are thinking of installing an air conditioning system, why not download our free guide on installing air conditioning.

Comfort Cooling in offices

Whether you are a small or large office we can install a system that will ensure you don’t get hot under the collar.

With the current climate change set to make temperatures rise by 1C year on year, the demand for office comfort cooling will also increase. Often there is the mis-conception that air conditioning only provides an ‘igloo’ effect or nothing at all. If designed and operated properly, air conditioning can provide a cooling solution that suits the majority of office working environments.

Newer inverter driven heat pumps can also distribute hot air as well as cold. Please see below for more details.

Heat Pumps

Inverter driven heat pumps are the future in air conditioning systems providing both hot air and cooling. In most cases the unit is cheaper to run than radiators and boilers. They are therefore a great long term investment for smaller businesses. Find out more by calling our sales team.

Server rooms and Data centres

DX Electrica understands that as technology progresses the need for low energy cooling for server rooms becomes essential. We are experts in this technology. Why not call our sales team to find out more about specific server room installations?

Larger installations

Larger installations normally requires design and CAD drawings. This is to ensure that the correct equipment has been selected and optimised for energy rating and EPBD. We have a dedicated engineering team that is able to design and give consultancy advice on the best solution for your requirements.

Controlled Environments

We have experience in designing and installing complex controlled environments, where there are consistently high levels of public occupancy. For example; hospitals, health care sector, theatres, laboratories and clean rooms all require a dependable controlled environment system.

Recommissioning

Do you have an air conditioning unit that needs moving to a new location? In some cases air conditioning units can be de and re-commissioned. Please call out sales team for a quote.

R22 Retrofit

In Dec 2009 R22 will become obsolete if you have an AC system older than 7 years it is probably inefficient and needs replacing.

Please call our sales team for a free installation quotation on 020 7375 7145.

Claiming your unit back through the ECA

The Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) scheme is a key part of the Government’s programme to manage climate change, and is designed to encourage businesses to invest in energy-saving equipment. The scheme provides a tax incentive to businesses that invest in equipment that meets published energy-saving criteria.

The Government introduced the ECA scheme in 2001 to encourage businesses to invest in low carbon, energy-saving equipment. As part of the Climate Change Levy Programme, it’s designed to help the UK reach its Kyoto target of reducing carbon emissions by 20% by 2015 and 80% by 2050.
