Uninsulated crimp terminals, insulated crimp terminals, sheet and heavy duty tube crimp terminals from 0.2 to 1000mm square are available for hand tool and press application. Crimp terminals, sometimes known as solderless or compression terminals, are made from high conductivity copper or brass and are nickel tin plated for superior corrosion resistance. Crimp terminals can also be insulated in PVC, nylon or polycarbonate. The majority of crimp terminals are manufactured under a quality system assessed to ISO9002 and meet many international performance standards such as CEGB, UL and CSA. Tube crimp terminals for use with cables up to 400mm squared feature a bell mouth design to ensure easy cable insertion while larger tube crimp terminals have a chamfered cable entry.
