Can you help?
|
PACT encourages everybody's involvement in their local
community as an important way of addressing inequality and
disadvantage. We believe that bringing all parts of the community
closer together to share ideas, support and resources is the best
way of achieving lasting change for the better.
You can help PACT and its projects by volunteering your time
and skills, by donating money or gifts in kind, or becoming a
Friend of a particular project. Whatever your contribution you
can play a vital part in building a stronger sense of identity
and purpose in your community.
Become a Member of PACT
- PACT's membership ensures a direct link with the local
community and provides a means for direct involvement in
our work. Volunteers and close supporters of PACT
projects qualify as Members, whilst many local
organisations are Corporate Members. Individual
membership is open to anyone who wants to support our
work.
There is no set membership fee but we do request
a voluntary donation - whether in money or in kind.
Members are invited to an Annual General Meeting and
Member's Meetings and are sent a regular newsletter.
Become a Friend
- Several projects have established Friends schemes as a
means of generating support and donations for their work.
Alongside PACT membership it is an excellent way of
supporting a project which is of particular interest to
you.
How to donate
Whether you wish it to help PACT's work in general, or to be
earmarked for a specific project, you have several choices when
considering how to make a donation.
- Cash donation - paid directly to PACT
- Legacies - we can advise on how to leave money in your
will
- Covenants - a commitment to giving for four years or more
offers tax advantages which benefit PACT;
- Gift Aid - a tax efficient way of giving which increases
the value of any donation over £250.
Become a volunteer
- What better way to support local community action than by
doing it yourself? If you want to join us as a volunteer
just give the Core Office a call and we'll put you in
touch with someone who needs your help. OR JOIN US OVER
THE NET BY SHARING YOUR IDEAS, EXPERIENCE OR SUGGESTIONS!
