WEDDING BAR HIRE / WEDDING MOBILE BAR HIRE
Whatever your venue, we will provide a first class mobile bar service to suit your needs. All we charge is a modest booking fee and that is all you pay – we then do the rest; we supply the staff, bars, full range of branded drinks, in fact everything down to straws, napkins and ice!
If you need a temporary alcohol license, we will obtain it on your behalf at no extra cost to you.
Our modern mobile bar units are specifically designed and manufactured for us. They incorporate concealed lighting which can be programmed for a range of colours and options, even creating something of a night club effect for your evening reception. If you do not like a particular lighting programme, just tell us –we will re-programme it immediately, and as many times as you would like during the evening!
Our uniformed staff will be on duty to serve you and your guests and help make your special day even more enjoyable and no matter what your drinks request, we are almost certain to have it; if not, we will do what we can to stock it for you.
In addition to serving you, our staff will periodically collect glasses, bottles, etc from tables and at the end of the evening we take away all collected bar waste with us.
We carry a wide selection of premium brand drinks, including draught lager and cider, bottled lager, ale and bitter, a large range of spirits (in excess of 50), wine, mixers and soft drinks. Most important of all, we charge pub prices, so there is no risk of your guests being overcharged.
Our four main wedding bar options are: pay bar, free bar, combination of the two and the very popular ‘token’ bar which is unique to us.

Pay Bar: Guests pay for their drinks just as they would in a pub or bar and we charge pub prices. This is by far the most popular option.
Free Bar: You pay for all drinks throughout the evening for all of your guests. If you select this option, we would agree an initial advance payment with you based on the number of guests and the duration of your reception. On the day, we would record the value of all drinks served and, at the end of the evening, if the total exceeded the initial payment, we would invoice you for the balance.
Combination of the Two: With this option you put some money behind the bar so that your guests can have free drinks at the start the evening. We can advise on an appropriate amount based on the number of guests and we would invoice you in advance so there would be nothing to pay on the day. Again, we record the value of all free drinks served and when the money has been used up we revert to a pay bar for the rest of the evening.
Token Bar: This is a variation on the ‘money behind the bar’ option and ensures that all guests receive an equal and fair share of your hospitality. We have experienced a number of functions where a few guests manage to get more than their fair share of free drinks. This is unfair to other guests and can be disappointing for the host. Following requests from clients, we have devised a system which ensures every guest, including children, gets a fair share of the host’s hospitality. You decide on the number of complimentary drinks you wish to provide for each guest, we then agree an advance payment based on approximate costing with you and provide attractive tokens, one per drink, in small colour co-ordinated envelopes which can be placed at each table place setting. Your guests can then use them at any time during the reception. When tokens are exchanged for drinks, we write the value on the back and calculate the total at the end of the night and if it is greater than the initial payment, we invoice you for the balance.
No matter which type of bar you choose, we will manage it on your behalf in a responsible and professional manner and, unless you advise us otherwise, we will ensure that your guests enjoy your hospitality, and/or exchange tokens for one drink at a time.

ARRIVAL DRINKS
We can be set up and ready to greet you and your guests upon arrival at your reception with a welcoming drink. Whether it be Pimms, sparkling wine, Bucks Fizz, or soft drinks, our staff can have them chilled and poured. Free glass hire is included with all arrival drinks.

TABLE WINE
We are able to offer a wide range of wines and champagnes in collaboration
with our sister company, ‘The Great Wine Merchant’. We are able to supply
at wholesale prices with wines starting at £4.99. The Great Wine Company
offers free glass hire with all wine purchases. We will also provide your

CHAMPAGNE/SPARKLING WINE
No matter what your budget, when it comes to the toasts, it has to be bubbly! We can offer a wide range of champagnes which our staff will chill, pour and serve to each guest in time for the speeches. Alternatively, we have a delicious sparkling white wine, very similar to champagne, but at a fraction of the cost and which is fast becoming our most popular choice, both for toasts and arrival drinks. We can advise and quote for the appropriate number of bottles to supply guests and we will also provide free hire of champagne flutes. |
