About Sliding Doors

Series 700,720 & 725
Commonfield's seven series sliding doors fall into 2 categories:

SERIES 700 for single sided applications.
SERIES 720 & 725 for double sided applications

Both types benefit from high quality, second generation, extruded aluminium frames which house the ball bearing bottom rollers in the bottom rail. This allows for the use of all glass types including frosted and clear. All seven series doors can also be fitted with a superb soft close that grabs a door around 150mm from it's rest position and gently guides it home. Commonfield soft close works on seven series doors.

Mixed glass/ panel doors
Doors can be supplied as a plain single glass or woodgrain door, to which, up to four decorative horizontal bars can be applied. Doors can also be supplied with mixed glass/ woodgrain panels in the same door, with once again, up to four bars to create five sections per door.

One piece doors with up to 4 bars applied.

Exclusive Designs
Mixed glass/panel sliding doors allow total design flexibility, and with an infinite number of permutations, offer your client an individual look which is unlikely to be repeated!

Single & Double Sided Doors
Series 720 & 725 can be ordered single sided for wardrobes or double sided for moving screens and access situations such as en-suite bathrooms.

30 Types and Finishes of Glass
There are currently nearly 50 different types and finishes of glass in our range with many more exciting colours on the drawing board.
Series 600
S600 was exclusively designed for the UK market and incorporates many of the" must have" features associated with more expensive doors, but at a much lower price. Although S600 is lower priced, we haven't compromised the way it runs…..due to it's broad bottom wheel, and it's spring (rather than peg) anti-jump, this door is one of the best sliders on the market.
