Just
Envelopes Environmental Policy and Procedures
“Think of your
Carbon footprint” is a term used widely in today’s
news.
At Just Envelopes (uk) Ltd we are all committed to
making a conscious contribution towards protecting the
environment.
Therefore, where possible we:
- Recycle old envelopes and other packaging materials
including all paper, cardboard and polythene waste,
cans, glass, magazines, newspapers and plastics. Even
broken wooden pallets. This is all through a local
recycling company
- Favour suppliers who also have a responsible view to
environmental issues.
For example return all toners and cartridges to
suppliers for recycling.
- Monitor energy usage & turn off electrical
appliances when not in use for long periods or over
night.
- Use products with the lowest environmental impact.
For example cleaning materials, inks and office
stationery.
- Do not use plastic cups or cutlery.
- Endeavour to streamline our operation to reduce our
pollution by maximising space utilisation on all our
delivery vehicles. Bulk order our stock items to
reduce the amount of deliveries to us.
- We have also registered with FPS to stop unwanted
faxes and paper wastage
- Continually explore ways to reduce the creation of
waste and pollution within the organisation.
