border, topiary and bog garden. Grade II 17th Century House (not

sculptures, plus a newly restored Victorian greenhouse with orchid

One of England's most romantic gardens surrounding a 14th Century moated
castle ruin. Azaleas and rhododendrons flower in abundance. Roses and clematis
adorn the castle walls. Autumn colours merge the garden with the woodlands
beyond.

wool smugglers cottage (not open to the public). Woodland walks
