One of only three gardens in Kent to be awarded a coveted Two Stars by the annual Good Gardens Guide, Goodnestone's gardens combine fascinating history with outstanding recent planting. Jane Austen was a regular visitor and would recognise much in the 15 acres, especially the famous view through the walled garden to the village church. Lawns and mature trees, woodland garden, walled garden and new gravel garden for 2003.
Toilet facilities, dogs not allowed (guide dogs only), plants / produce for sale, tea room / refreshments, car parking on site, special events, coach parking on site, picnic area.

Magnificent gardens surround this Tudor castle. Enjoy the broadwalk with
its unique yew hedge as well as the moat, kitchen gardens and the woodland
walk. The Queen Mother's garden was designed for her majesty Queen Elizabeth
the Queen Mother's 95th birthday.

surround the listed farmhouse, behind the Nursery. An interesting
