VLDs offer the technically correct solution to the control orcalibration of a gas or liquid flow. Ion medicare are specialist in fabricating small holes, calibrating and certifying, ready for use directly in a component or as fitting shown below.
Holes are 1micrometer and larger. Flow rates start at 0.01ml/min with maximum pressure 60bar. Holes are calculated and VLDs fabricated to specific customer applications. Tell us
your testing specification and we will advise the VLD.
Once calibrated, the flow at any set controlled condition can be accurately predicted. Flow is accurate to within a fraction of 1%. Removable internal filtration protects the VLD.
Applications include, Critical flow & pressure setting & control, particle separation, injection mixing, ink jet nozzles etc.
