According to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) an employers responsibility to its lone workers include ‘identifying hazards at work, assessing the risks involved, and putting measures in place to avoid or control risks’.

In- vehicle Panic alarms:

If your operatives are carrying high value loads, operating regularly away from base in unfamiliar areas, or their operating circumstances warrant additional support, you should consider adding an in-vehicle panic button to your Madison solutions unit in the event of an emergency

· Pushing the panic button will trigger an email or SMS message to a pre-selected individual or distribution list – the message can include the location and postcode of the event

· FOL will also depict the exact location and position of the vehicle at the time the panic button was activated on street level mapping

· For more comprehensive support, activation of the panic button can be linked to specialist 24/7 event monitoring organisations whose staff are extensively trained to follow pre-agreed escalation procedures to ensure any event is managed promptly and effectively. Madison Solutions works with monitoring specialist Cybit and other partner organisations

Remote Panic Alarms:

If  your workforce has to leave their vehicles to undertake unaccompanied work you should consider providing them with remote panic alarms

· Madison Solutions provides a series of devices with connectivity ranging from 100m to 5,000m from the vehicle (depending upon requirements)

        · Our standard remote panic alarm is a key fob – the logic is the driver always takes their keys with them when leaving a vehicle!
