The world of broadband internet and email accessibility has never been more prolific than in todays business climate. Availability of broadband communications in the UK is at its highest ever, whilst costs of supply and implementation are at an all time low. Whilst this has a large number of positive cost and resource saving effects on businesses, there is also becoming an ever increasing problem with the associated IT security implications.

Spam mail is a problem rapidly spiralling out of control for all organisations. To date, approximately 80% of all internet email traffic is spam related. Companies with network wide internet user access over broadband communications are struggling to control and censor user activity. Virus and malicious code exploits are spreading throughout the world at an exponential rate. The list goes on.
