The client contracted to provide a gymnasium for use by the owners of the newly built apartments in Guildhouse Street, as part of the sales and marketing strategy. Kaymac were appointed to fit out the gymnasium. This involved taking the concrete shell and installing mechanical and electrical services, changing rooms, ceiling, wall and floor finishes, decoration, high spec joinery, balustrading and fixtures and fittings. The fit out was completed in an 8-week programme within budget.
Features:

Ceilings
A combination of Rockfon Arctic suspended ceiling and MF ceilings, bulkheads & rafts.

Flooring
A combination of timber vinyl flooring and carpeting.

Joinery
Solid oak steps and balustrade capping and shower seating.

Tiling
Wall tiling to changing rooms from
H & R Johnson prismatics range and floor tiling from Focus Ceramics.

Lighting
Downlights to the gym area with feature lights to changing area. Trough fluorescents to mirrors.
