At Jubilee Court we provide 24 hour support delivered by our skilled, caring, qualified care team. All of our residents, whether long term or respite, receive the same dedicated care tailored to their individual needs.
Whether the resident requires support with physical, emotional or mental health issues our team have the training and support to give excellent professional care. Our philosophy is to provide a wonderful and caring home for all of our residents.
We will continue to provide a loving, caring, warm and safe home for our residents even as their mental health or physical needs deteriorate and we aim to provide that support until the end of a resident’s life.
Our desire is to provide a sociable and enjoyable place to live where our clients can choose to relax in one of our communal lounges, rest privately in their own room or take part in the activities laid on by our activities co-ordinator.
Our chef prepares and cooks three meals a day using fresh ingredients. We cater for clients with specialist dietary needs and a choice of meals is always available. Fresh cakes, pastries or cookies are baked each day and birthday or other special occasion cakes always appear as if by magic! One of our favourite days is Friday when the chef always makes her delicious cheese scones.
Clients can choose where they would like to eat their meals, some choosing to eat in our pleasant dining room, others in the lounge and some preferring to eat in the privacy of their own room. We are also happy to provide a ‘family meal’ by special request should families be visiting from a distance.
Our care team work closely with our residents to provide a wide variety of activities at Jubilee Court and around the Bexhill and East Sussex area. We help and encourage our residents to continue to pursue their own hobbies and interests, as well as trying new activities, such as: Gardening; Music and movement; Sing-a-longs; Bingo; Theatre trips and pantomimes; Arts & Crafts; Quizzes and Reminiscence.
We encourage any kind of activity which helps to maintain individual interests, hobbies and links with the wider community. We are also happy to welcome residents on respite care, loved ones and relatives who would like to join in with any of our activities or indeed would like to recommend something new to try.
We believe there has to be 100% transparency and openness between us, our residents and family members. We whole heartily encourage visitors to turn up whenever they like during the day and feel free to look around the home and ask our staff any questions they may have.
