Whats your Broadband story??
Ben Thompson is a broadband enthusiast. Ask him about the benefits of broadband and he hardly knows where to begin.
"I suppose," says Ben, "three things are really important to me and broadband gives me all three. First, I can surf the net at the same time as talking to friends on the phone. Second, broadband gives me much faster access to the internet with nearly no time wasted between pressing the connect icon and being logged onto the net. And third, and this is really important to my parents, broadband is much better value for money."
Ben, who has developed an early interest in internet and graphic design, also spends a lot of time viewing high-bandwidth web sites. Says Ben, "I'm really into checking out the latest trailers for movies, downloading music, games and software, and keeping up-to-date with friends.
Why are you a Broadband Britain Champion??
Ben, who has his own website, very definitely sees himself as one of broadband's younger champions. "I know quite a lot about internet and computers for my age, " he says. "I surf the web a lot, and use the broadband connection to make it all quicker."
