Green Sites
Renewables, energy efficiency, and low carbon projectsCommunities for Renewables
The principal aim of the CfR site is to provide communities with tools to help them set up viable, renewable energy projects. The key benefit of the site is that communities can search for a project location and then assess the feasibility of this project without having to incur costs and hire in expert help. The site also supports community groups in terms of their setup, organisation, and their approach to funding and group development over time.
Produced for Regen SW in partnership with EST a successful outcome will see a significant number of community groups registered with the site, with details of their renewable energy projects stored online. From these projects a percentage will achieve funding and, with expert support and assistance, will stand a good chance of achieving the best deal for the community involved.

Energy Centre System for Islington Council
Energy centres give advice, supply information, and coordinate housing grants aimed at reducing energy consumption. Designed in collaboration with IEC (Islington Energy Centre) and SELEEAC (South East London Energy Efficiency Advice Centre) we developed a user-friendly system that allows energy centres to record customer information and generate custom reports and letters. It's all dynamic so each centre can create new grant forms and contact information and shape the system to their requirements.
Ska Rating with RICS
Whenever an office building is renovated or re-developed for a new tenant there can be a significant environmental impact. Commissioned by Skansen, an environmentally committed construction company, we're developing an online tool that will allow developers to generate a sustainability rating for an office redevelopment project. The system will give developers advice on the best practice measures to improve sustainability and reduce the impact on the environment. The rating system has been developed by Faber Maunsell, a leading engineering consultancy firm.
Sustainability Guide for CIBSE
The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers CIBSE is the standard setter and authority on building services engineering. It publishes Guidance and Codes and sets the criteria for best practice in the profession.
We developed a searchable, online database of good practice sustainability measures for building services engineers. The measures are a distillation of well-established sustainability guidance. With a powerful search facility users can browse the system, view the measures, and find references to further guidance and documents.
