Parents' Association
We are particularly proud of our Parents’ Committee.
Reflecting the family atmosphere that exists throughout Parkgate House, the Committee organises a wide range of enjoyable events each year, as well as fund raising for the school and for the wonderful charities that we have adopted.
The Parkgate House Parents’ Association represents a good cross-section of the school, with various members also acting as Class Representatives.
The role of each Class Representative is to keep parents up-to-date with the events that are planned for each term and help parents to get to know each other better.
The organisations we support include:
- The Prince's Foundation for Children and the Arts
- Trinity Hospice – providers of care for people with advanced illnesses
- Room to Read – a charity that partners local communities throughout the developing world to provide high quality learning opportunities
- The Rainbow School for autistic children
- Action Medical Research
- Samaritan's Purse
