Paradise Gardens
Managing Director, Jonathan Tate, started collecting plants 35 years ago and built the purpose built planthouses at Paradise Park when his collection became too large to contain at home. Now, the planthouses extend to over ΒΌ acre (0.1 hectares) and are divided into temperate and desert zones.
The paradise gardens are designed and planted to provide a wide range of interest throughout the year; Paradise gardens offer great delight and inspiration for garden-lovers. The design incorporates many styles from a formal waterside boardwalk to the more natural lakeside planting.
The Sussex History Trail tells you about many well-known landmarks and the history of Sussex with handcrafted models.
Our dinosaur garden brings together the remarkable dinosaur fossils on display in the museum with life size models of dinosaurs that would have roamed Sussex sixty millions years ago.
