PACT and EmploymentPACT has run employment projects since 1989, which specialise in services for disabled people and people with health problems, who are usually excluded from mainstream employment opportunities. The main projects catering for these needs at present are known as Workability projects. |
The Workability projects create opportunities in education, training and work. The projects provide specialist information and support to help people with learning disabilities, physical and sensory disabilities and people with mental health needs. The service provides individualised assessment and guidance, in-house training programmes, work placement assessments and longer term opportunities in further education, voluntary work and paid or supported employment.
