Item 3 – PS informed those present that the planned meeting with Steve Bailey has "died a death" through inability to arrange a suitable date. JW informed the group that SB will be attending the ISTUG meeting in December. JW also informed the group that JW, HW & JL are to meet with Steve Bailey and Mike Edwards from SES. |

ISTUG Meeting Breakout Sessions |
|
3.1 |
PS lamented the fact that at the last few Breakout Sessions (BS) she has dominated the topics as there has been no pre-defined structure / agenda. JW informed the group that ISTUG meeting questions can now be submitted online via the ISTUG website. PS suggested Intrastats & The Euro as topics for the next BS. HW noted that the BS also allows users to say "Who here has dealt with this problem?". JW mentioned that the next BS is in the Spring ISTUG. It was decided that an agenda for the next BS will be decided on at the next FSIG, this to be distributed via the website, the newsletters, and the agenda. |

Any Other Business |
|
4.1 |
HW - Why do new releases with new fields have the fields suspended in the forms? TP stated that this was a policy decision - new fields would cause much confusion if they simply "appeared". |
|
4.2 |
HJ - raised issue of support calls falling into a "Black Hole" when they reach SES. |
|
4.3 |
DR - as a direct customer has been "informed" as a fait accompli that all support has now been transferred to TAH (The Accounting House). Other direct customers have the same experience. JW & JL were unaware of this and will raise the issue with SB immediately. KF stated that he had received a similar letter and nearly discarded thinking that it was a circular as he is not a direct customer. |
JW & JL |
4.4 |
NP - has problems clearing GRNI from system past month end. JW - raise a dummy invoice against each outstanding item. Unfortunately laborious, but no alternative currently available. HJ - new functionality is coming as part of an MBE, however HJ lacks confidence in the referential integrity of any such "quick fix". |
|
4.5 |
HW - does anyone use "Retention Accounting" in A/P? No-one at the meeting could answer, but TP will enquire. |
TP |
4.6 |
NP - no online help available. Contact Dawn Rogers at SES as she is able to provide. |
|
4.7 |
A number of emailed questions where dealt with, with the answers available on the website. |
