ROLE
a)
Responsibilities
·
Integration of new businesses onto Sage
Line 500 & Bunzl business “blueprints”
·
Problem resolution on Sage Line 500
systems
·
Implementation of new Sage Line 500
functionality (new modules, new Line 500 projects, 3rd party
add-ons)
·
Business systems analysis to support
existing businesses and the development of new functionality
b) Experience & skills
·
minimum 3 years Sage Line 500 support
& implementation experience in a commercial environment essential, ideally
gained in a high volume transaction processing, supply chain management
environment
·
in depth working knowledge of ledgers,
stock, purchasing, order processing, telesales, warehouse management & EDI
·
project management in a system
implementation environment
·
AIX (IBM UNIX), a distinct advantage
·
Relational database, a distinct
advantage (in particular, Informix IDS)
·
Preparedness to work on a rota basis to
provide support for month end and out-of-hours
·
graduate calibre
·
preparedness to undertake UK and mainland
Europeanropean travel
·
Adaptable, resilient, highly motivated,
