WPP: Creating a Group community in Hong Kong
Objectives
and tasks
Fulcrum was asked to rationalise WPP's fragmented Hong Kong
property portfolio and address potential expansion and contraction
requirements. We identified an opportunity to co-locate eight
companies in a single location over four contiguous floors,
providing flexible space and a collaborative environment.
Resourcing
Fulcrum's in-house team worked closely with the architect,
designer and the individual business units to ensure individual
needs were met whilst communal efficiencies were retained.
Outcomes and benefits
Communal services - meeting rooms, informal touchdown spaces,
reception, switchboard, kitchen, mailroom and reprographics
- have created a real Group community. Substantial cost efficiencies
were made by leveraging the collective buying power to maximise
procurement benefits, including lease terms and fit-out costs.
