Sanders Property Management LLP has been awarded the contract to manage
the residences of the iconoclastic Metropole Court in Eastbourne and
in the first step to renovating this landmark building, has appointed
ROK to undertake the upgrade and refurbishment.
The project will see
a team of ROK’s maintenance technicians repair the exterior rendering
and give the entire building a new lick of paint once again making
it a focal point along the seafront.
In the lead up the 2008 Eastbourne Relay for Life, Sanders Property
Management LLP organised a May charity fund-raising match between Eastbourne
Rugby Club’s third team and the Heathfield Boars to raise money for
Cancer Research.
Many thanks to Heathfield Boars for participating,
to the crowds who turned up to support the charity friendly and to
the local companies that kindly donated prizes for the raffle. The
event was a huge success and raised over £900 on the day and better
still, Eastbourne managed (just) to snatch victory by 21-17.
Sanders Property Management LLP volunteered through Sussex Enterprise
to create a community garden in Shinewater Field in Lagney as a first
step towards creating an open and beautiful area for the community.
The project was funded by the Langney Area Panel and supported by Eastbourne
Homes.
The area around the Beat Youth Sports Club has been cleared
t make way for seating areas, raised flower beds and a water feature
and will go a long way in breathing new life into this previously disused
piece of land.
Sanders Property Management LLP was pleased to take part in the 2008
Relay for Life, a 24-hour walk to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Raising
over £15,000, teams of people worked together and ensured that one
member of their team was on the track at all times. The walk allowed
people to remember loved ones and to celebrate life. The event opened
with survivors of cancer and their carers taking part in a lap of honour
and the relay started with hundreds of coloured balloons being released
over the track.
The event is in its second successful year in Eastbourne
and is growing from strength to strength and Sanders look forward to
supporting and participating in Relay for Life in 2009.
It’s true to say that charity starts at home, and whilst Sanders Property Management keenly support an array of local charities, sports clubs and community initiatives, we are also proud to support a selection of national charities.
