LiDAR News
Philip Masters and Richard James from Archaeology South East will be giving a presentation to the Southeast Woodland Archaeology Forum on the use of LiDAR to interpret the historic landscapes of Sheffield Park. It has enabled the fine detail of a complex landscape stranded in woodland to be interpreted. This modern approach to reading the landscape ensures archaeology that may have been dismissed or not seen can now be researched and interpreted and recorded for the future and will be used on a number of future ACTA projects.
