- Sea World. a must for children of all ages: 15 min
- Wet & Wild. Fun for all ages in this fantastic water park: 20 min
- Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, a must visit site: 20 min
- Kennedy Space Centre and Atlantic Beaches, inc Daytona: 60 min
- St Johns's River, take an Air Boat rides and see Nature at its best: 30 min
- Fantasy of Flight, a must for anyone interested in aviation: 20 mins
- Tampa and St.Petersburgh, Busch Gardens, awesome rides, great gardens: 45 min
- The lovely Gulf Coast with Clearwater Beach: 60 min
- Or for a break from the fury of the theme parks why not visit one of Florida's many State Parks.
Local Amenities
A 24 hour Publix Supermarket, and other stores and food outlets are located a couple of minutes drive away at the junction of Lake Wilson Rd and the Osceola Polk Line Rd Hwy 192 with it's shops and restaurants is a short drive north..
There are Wal*Mart stores north of Haines City, about 15 minutes drive down Highway 27, and just north of the junction of H27 and H192 going towards Claremont.
Golf
Central florida has a host of excellent golf courses, it's golf heaven!
Local golf courses include Champions Gate, Celebration, and Ridgewood Hills, with over a dozen more within 30 minutes drive time. There are courses to match all handicaps, or why not take a few lessons while you are here.
