We pride ourselves on being a young and forward thinking company. The directors all bring a huge amount of experience from many backgrounds. This not only gives us the breadth of skills that we need to run a successful company, but the ability to think somewhat differently from our competitors.

Between the 5 of us below, we take responsibility for the business, but we are supported by a great team who actually make the business run and enable us to produce the best quality shellfish.

Trevor Bartlett

The man at the top! Trevor brings a lifetime of experience of the shellfish industry having fished all around the UK, and then built his own businesses off his experience. The blue sea food company has been his passion for years and he brought the team together.

David Markham

A background in operations and sales, his job here is—operations and sales! Although his industry has changed from tobacco to shellfish, he brings the requisite know-how and enthusiasm to carry the operations of the business forwards.

Dawn Spencer

Our food expert. Years of management in numerous food factories, Dawn has huge experience in how to run a safe and efficient food processing factory and gives us the confidence that no product leaves our factory that we would not be proud of.

Jonathan Malcolm

Always checking the numbers! A background with wide experience in commercial management, as well as technology, Jonny manages the commercial side of the business as well as keeping an eye on most matters technical.

Richard Chatfield

From retail to sales… Rich can be relied upon to build up a strong relationship with our customers. His many years with Marks & Spencer are reaping rewards for our business, and his cheerful attitude always(!?!) entertains staff and customers alike!
