For the third successive year, Karl Holweger, CEO of Pell & Bales, leads a team of cyclists from Bedford to London
Pell & Bales first charity cycle for the Orphans of Nkandla was in 2004, where employees from both Bedford and London cycled 60 miles to the London office in Old Street. The cyclists were sent on their way by local MP, Patrick Hall, and managed to raise £3,997.55
In 2005, they repeated the trip and raised £3,415.85 through clients, colleagues, friends and families, and this year are hoping to raise £5,000.
This year’s bike ride will take place on Friday 11 August and staff at Pell & Bales are signing up in Bedford and London. This year they hope to smash the £5,000 raised last year.
Watch this space for more information. In the meantime, if you would like to participate, donate, or just want more information about the bike ride, please contact Kirsty MacKinnon at Pell & Bales.
