Pavilion Opera is London's premier touring chamber opera (see Grove's Dictionary of Opera.) It was started in 1981 and is still run by Freddie Stockdale (Founder/Manager) with Peter Bailey (Music Director) in his 21st season and Pete Anderson (Stage Manager) in his 14th.

Pavilion Opera performs popular operas IN-THE-ROUND fully costumed with piano or chamber orchestral accompaniment.

We have given over 2,000 performances in 24 countries. Past venues include Blenheim Palace, Versailles, and Spencer House in London. Overseas we perform regularly in Europe, but also as far afield as Tokyo, Hong Kong, New York, Johannesburg and Sydney.
