Whether or not you support or agree with the politics behind recent conflicts it is impossible to get away from the fact that there are thousands of men and women who are willing to put the defence of you, I and our country before their own safety. Unfortunately the support that is available should they suffer any injuries in service appears to be somewhat underfunded and that is where Help for Heroes has made a big impact.
Karting for Heroes is a two tier event raising money for Help for Heroes and consists of a daytime 3 hour kart race at the Buckmore Park Kart circuit in Kent, followed in the evening by the After Party which is held about 5minutes away at the 4 star Bridgewood Manor Hotel and consists of food, comedy show, disco and merged in the middle the K4H Auction.
Supporters can join either of both events by entering or purchasing tickets in advance.
What can we expect?
Daytime On track - If its dry - Fun, chaos, bribery, more fun and 3 hours of adrenalin pumping competition, if it's wet then add a bit more chaos.
Evening After Party – An opportunity to relax, eat and drink and play a game of Dodge the Comedian in the evening where you try not to catch their eyes. NB – It is not advisable to go to the toilet during a comedy act as one unlucky guest did (twice) during the 2011 event!
Both events are there to entertain you and your friends with the emphasis on raising money for H4H.

What is Help for Heroes?
The message of the charity is simple: "We are strictly non political and non critical; we simply want to help. We believe that anyone who volunteers to serve in time of war, knowing that they may risk all, is a hero. These are ordinary people doing extraordinary things and some of them are living with the consequences of their service for life. We may not be able to prevent our soldiers from being wounded, but together we can help them get better."
Who pays for the event?
Karting for Heroes, the event and website are organised and operated by HYDRAQUIP. The event is held by a holding deposit paid by HYDRAQUIP and who pay the total due based on the number of teams entered and tickets sold. The balance from all the money is then paid over to Help for Heroes. The event is significantly helped by the kind generosity of individuals and companies who offer items or services in support of K4H and in turn H4H.
HYDRAQUIP do not charge for any administration or organisation of the event.
