Did you know - Bilbo ran the first 'professional' surfing
business in Britain, starting in 1965 building surfboards,
running a surf shop and publishing surfing postcards and a
book - one of the founders sadly Bill Bailey passed away in
May 2009.

and Ireland in the 1960s - many of these guys are still around
and surfing today - featuring Rod Sumpter and Tigger Newling
