This fine art canvas is made from 8oz. cotton duck canvas. The raw canvas fabric is triple coated with acid-free sizing then double primed with acrylic primer then stretched over ¾" thick stretcher strips and back stapled. This stretched canvas is ideal for use with traditional or watersoluble oil paints, acyrylics or alkyds.

8 oz. cotton duck with medium grain surface. Ideal for all techniques this 1.5" deep, back-stapled canvas is tightly stretched and triple coated with acid free sizing, as well as two coats of Winsor & Newton highly pigmented primer.

This stretched canvas is a fine quality medium grain cotton canvas with two coats of highly pigmented acrylic primer, providing just the correct degree of tooth and absorbency to allow adhesion of the paint film without sinking.
