100% Linen

This high quality medium grain canvas is made from 100% traditional linen cloth and is the preferred surface for professional artists.

It is ideal for all techniques including the heavier application of colour.The 13oz canvas is primed with two coats of highly pigmented primer allowing excellent adhesion of colour. It provides balanced absorbency and tooth, preventing sinking of oil colour.

The linen canvas is stapled on the reverse to allow painting on all sides and has professional stretcher bars giving greater strength and stability.

Artists Quality Deep Edge

Using the same carefully selected and primed cotton canvas as our original Artists' Canvas, this Deep Edge range has thicker stretchers to help give your painting extra impact.

The Artists' Canvas range consists of carefully selected and prepared medium grain 100% cotton canvas. The primed canvas weighs 13oz/375gsm having been triple coated with one coat of acid free sizing and two coats of highly pigmented primer.
The result is a canvas that offers tooth and balanced absorbency, for excellent adhesion and preventing the sinking of oil colour.

All Artists' Canvases are stapled on the reverse resulting in clean edges, to ensure that you can paint on all four sides. Professional stretcher bars offer great strength and stability.
