How to find The Church of the Ascension
The Church of the Ascension is situated on Arundel Road, between Bramber Avenue and Steyning
Avenue. Bramber Avenue cannot be accessed from the coast road (A259) but Steyning Avenue can.
If you are travelling from the direction of Brighton you will approach Peacehaven and
Telscombe Cliffs along the A259. As you enter Telscombe Cliffs you will come to a roundabout
with a Texaco petrol station on your left and a Thai restaurant on your right. Go over this roundabout
and continue on for about half a mile and you will approach another roundabout. Go over this
roundabout too and continue on for a further quarter of a mile and you will see on your left a
Shell petrol station.
Turn left into Steyning Avenue which is just before the Shell petrol station.
The Church of the Ascension is at the end of Steyning Avenue, on your left.
You may park in Steyning Avenue, or turn left and park in front of the Church in Arundel Road
or take the next left turn into Bramber Avenue. There are off-road spaces in front of the
Church hall in Bramber Avenue. But wherever you park, please park courteously.
If you are approaching Peacehaven and Telscombe Cliffs from the direction of Newhaven, you
will enter Peacehaven and see the Shell petrol station on your right. Steyning Avenue is the
next turning on your right.
