Founded over 100 years ago, the Electrical Contractors’ Association (ECA) is the UK’s largest and leading trade association representing electrical, electronic, installation engineering and building services companies. The aim of the Electrical Contractors’ Association (ECA) is to ensure that electrical installation work is undertaken by qualified people to high standards of quality and safety and to terms which are equitable to the customer and installer. Recognised by government, commerce and industry as the authoritative voice of the sector, the ECA is among the nation's best resourced representative associations. HVCA adds value to members' businesses by providing quality services, promoting excellence and shaping the commercial environment through representation and leadership.
The HVCA represents the interests of firms active in the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration (hvacr) products and equipment.
HVCA members are subject to regular, third-party inspection and assessment to ensure their technical and commercial competence.
ISO 9001:2008 is a badge that demonstrates the requirements for a quality management system. The accreditation proves that the business consistently provides a service that meets the customer’s requirements to the statutory and regulatory requirements. The quality management is continually reviewed to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system. This accreditation is subject to an annual external audit carried out by QMS UK a certified body for ISO9001.
- ISO14001: An ISO qualification and concentrates on the energy and environmental management throughout the business
- Safe Contractor: A qualification which demonstrates our dedication to health and safety in relation to air conditioning and electrical services
- CHAS: A qualification which shows our competence relating to health and safety. This is a extension of our HVCA and ECA accreditation
