Co-curricular
“…pupils can join a wide number of clubs and take part in other activities. A notably large percentage of the children take part in after-school clubs. The development of such interests is given a high priority by the school as a component of a child’s whole development.”
Ofsted, September 2008
An extensive programme of co-curricular activities is provided to broaden the Parkgate House School curriculum and bring learning to life.
Throughout the year, we hold pre- and after-school clubs for pupils of all ages. In addition, there is also the opportunity to join the school choir, karate club, our various sports teams, running club or ballet exam club.
In the Pre-Prep years, children become a member of one of our four houses and this brings additional opportunities to join in events such as swimming galas, inter-house hockey matches, football and netball fixtures, poetry and house quizzes.
Our clubs include:
- Ballet
- Dance

- Football
- French
