French in the Nursery Department

As another term gets underway, I am so impressed with what our Nursery children have remembered from last year and how quickly our new starters are picking up the new language.

Nounours the teddy bear’s visits are a popular part of the Nursery week and many of the Nursery 2 children also enjoy the weekly French club.

The children develop confidence in verbalising new words and sounds by taking part in songs and acting out familiar stories such as Little Red Riding Hood (Le Petit Chaperon Rouge) and Goldilocks and the Three Bears (Boucle D’or et les Trois Ours).
